Tomorrow, September 23rd a group of students and I will be heading to Salisbury, NC to participate in the Saluting Branches Volunteer campaign. Saluting Branches is a one day event for arborists to give back to those who made the sacrifice for our country. We will be volunteering in a veteran cemetery, providing tree care to make it safe for the friends and families of those who have served in the military.
From the Saluting Branches website:
Saluting Branches: Arborists United for Veteran Remembrance is an opportunity for tree care professionals throughout the country to unite and do what we do best – provide exceptional tree care – to keep our veterans cemeteries safe, beautiful places for all those who visit.
I look forward to taking part in this event as a way to give back to those who gave everything they had for our freedom and well-being.
In the spirit of Ut Prosim!
